Navidades en Montana (Christmas in Montana)

Estas Navidades las pasamos en Montana. Mis papás (Pepe y Melba) nos vinieron a visitar a Carolina del Norte por unos diás y luego los cuatro (Dave, papá, mamá y yo) nos fuimos a Montana con los papás de Dave (Bernard y Dorothy). En la foto tenemos la sala de estar con las decoraciones de Navidad. ¡Mucho espíritu navideño!

This Christmas we all went to Montana. My parents (Pepe and Melba) came to see us for a few days in NC and then all four of us (Dave, mom and dad) went to Montana with Dave's parents (Bernard and Dorothy). In the picture is the living room and some of the Christmas decorations, yay for the Christmas spirit!
El día de Navidad fuimos a misa y luego como tradición de los Krnaveks tomamos fotos de la familia con el árbolito detrás. Se nos olvidó tomar una con todos en la foto, pero es que el cachorrito no estaba de ganas...

On Christmas day we all went to mass and after we did the Krnavek family picture tradition... taking pictures of the couples and families in front of the tree... I think we forgot one with all of us, but the puppy just was not in the mood.


Luego de las fotos nos sentamos alrededor del arbolito a intercambiar y dar regalos y pasarla bien.

After the family pictures we sat around the tree and exchanged gifts and good times.

Para los que no saben, el cachorrito amarillo, es el regalo de Navidad de Bernard y el marrón es la mascota de la hermana de Dave, Lauren. Hasta los cachorritos recibieron regalos.

For those of you that don't know it, the golden labrador is Bernard's gift and the brown boxer is Dave's sister, Lauren, puppy. Even the puppies got gifts and good times.
¡Más noticias! En la foto están Chuck, Lauren y Maggie (cachorrita)... ¡Esa noche Chuck le propuso matrimonio a Lauren! ¡Así que en Octubre tenemos boda!

More good news! In the picture is Chuck, Lauren and Maggie (puppy)... That night Chuck proposed to Lauren! So we got wedding in Montana in October!

Tiempo de hacer salchichas! yumy. El papá de Dave, Bernard, cazó varios tipos de venado y aquí estamos mezclando las carnes y añadiendo sal y pimienta.

Time to make sausages, yumy! Bernard went hunting and got a deer, elk and antelope, and here we are mixing the meat and adding salt and pepper.
